What is Enterprise?

Aberdeenshire Council recently launched it’s Enterprise in Education Plan as a result of the Scottish Executive’s Determined to Succeed initiative.

Determined to Succeed promotes valuable experiences for all pupils at all stages of their education developing skills and a sense of purpose that can last a lifetime.

At Markethill we hope to develop learning activities across the curriculum and at all stages that will encourage positive attitudes towards enterprise and entrepreneurship. We also hope to develop local business partnerships in conjunction with the other schools in the Turriff CSN.

DETERMINED TO SUCCEED

ENTERPRISE

Enterprise 2007/8

P2-3/3, 3/2 and P3-4/1 are starting to organise their enterprise project for 2008. The pupils have decided to hold an exhibition called ’Journey into the past’.  This will feature displays on the Victorians, Native American and Ancient Egypt
